“The Assignment” is a slow-burn, identity-shifting visual novel set in Halden City, where you play as a seemingly ordinary university student. A strange psychology homework assignment begins to unravel your sense of self, drawing you into a spiral of transformation, submission, and self-discovery. With multiple paths, diverse characters, and dynamic systems, your journey will be shaped by who you trust and who you become.

The game has for now, about two weeks worth of content. The first week is about getting to know the charactes and the game's mechanics, while the second weeks builds to the assignment, the main plot point of the game.

I would have loved to play the game but the browser version is cut off at the bottom so I can't progress in the story from the first scene.

Exactly. At least on the Brave browser it seems to not function properly.

On the Firefox the downloadable version works just fine.

you can use the tab key to proceed if you don't care skipping some dialogs.

I've change it so it goes fullscreen. I think this will solve the problem

Doesn't seem to, at least on chrome. Doesn't appear to be a scroll bar, nor does mouse wheel scrolling work.

At least for the online version.

I'll make some tests on other browsers to see what I can do.

I got it fixed. Scrolling should be working on Chrome and other browsers now.
